What I consider as pre-AIC style AIC anime (80-90) is an interesting peice of work to say the least. With moderate animation and a mediocre story Burn-Up has had success on some points. The series that developed from it (Burn-Up W) is apperently successful, at least here in the states. Although I myself have not had the chance to see Burn-Up W, I still want to. I do like the original Burn-Up, although I don't count it among my favorites, for any fan of AIC, check it out, just so you can know what all of theur stuff is like.
