Oi minna-san! Genki desu ka? Kangei suru Anime No Sekai de!
A word from Jay:
|
If you've been here before you've probably noticed the new design.
What do you think? I like it better than the old one personally. I haven't gotten much work done on any new pages because I've been modifying the old pages to be up-to-spec
with the opening ones, and, of course, the new ones when they're done. That's all for now. Ja ne!

If you happened to appear at this site for some weird reason, and you know nothing about anime, I'm going to give you a breif introduction to it. Anime the style of Japanese Animation.
In America it originally became popular on collage campuses, and even some on American TV, although (for the most part) the Americans watching were unaware of this fact.
Anime like Robotech (Macross), Speed Racer, and Kimba the White Lion apeared in America as early as the 70's (Robotech didn't hit our shores until the 80's). In 1992 a few
companies began releasing pakaged tapes of Anime. Companies like ADV, US Manga Corps., Pioneer, and are still going strong, and getting stronger. But one old company that
released very worthwhile anime title was sadly picked off by the larger, more profitable, anime companies. This company was US. Renditions. Although, their parent company,
Nippan Shupan Hanbai, still lives on, they sadly do not liscense anime anymore (but they sell it!). See what a breif intro that was^_-. Anyway, that's anime in America. This site will
be about several different anime series/movies. I have already begun work on some of the sections. Currently I am redesigning the main pages of the site, then work will resume as
planned on the other anime series that I wish to do pages on. My goal in creating Anime No Sekai is to bring the web-surfer (you) accurate information on Anime. This is currently the
test version of the site. Note that all the sections under "Soon" are not yet linked. These are sections in production. Please enjoy your stay at Anime No Sekai.

Image galleries are neat don't ya' think ^_-! We'll be having several. The image gallery up now is about 2 megs, unorganized and not in any condition to go to. But, I will be organizing
the images very specifically soon. I'll also make some pages containing the same images sorted into different categories. For instance; there will be character specific, series specific,
and anything else I can come up with. Anyhow the message mainly is, only go to the two image galleries we have up now if you have a nice connection.

I belong to four webrings. One is my own and has only two members (there are other members waiting to be added),
I would love for some people to join! So if you have a website please, slide on in and
sign up. I also belong to a Ranma Ring, an AMS ring, and the tenchi ring. I would like to belong to more, but for now, while I finish my site, these four are fine. The Anime Web Association ring fragment will be in this
web ring link. While the Tenchi Ring fragment is on
the Tenchi Muyo! site and in the link. The others are alos in the link but not on their respective sites.

As I said before some of those links over in that table on the side aren't linked yet. Though they are in work, they aren't linked.
