Anime Earth: Ranma Nibunnoichi: Characters: Shampoo

Shampoo
Shampoo is probably the least intelligent character in Ranma Nibunnoichi. But she is still a good character. She's one of my favorite
characters. On IRC when I'm in a wierd mood I talk like Shampoo.
For Example:
[|Shampoo|] I give you kiss of death! Now you die!
[somebody] Cut that out Jay
[|Shampoo|] Who Jay? You is crazy!
Hehe^^. A while ago I d/l 2 IRCcs, and I used to hang out in some popular anime chat rooms. Anyhow. Shampoo is one of Ranma's fiancées. Probably
his most *expressive* one. Shampoo can often be seen in public fawning over Ranma-kun. However, when Ranma and she first met...
Hopefully I will put a picture in that blankspot some time^^.
Anyway. When they first met it was in Shampoo's village in China. Ranma and Genma sat down to watch the tournament that
Shampoo was competeing in. Unfortunatly they sat in the middle of, what appeared to be, a big buffet. They started eating while
the fight took place. Having defeated her last opponent, Shampoo suddenly notices that the "buffet" is fastly dissapearing. When
Shampoo thrusts her bonbori at Ranma-chan she asks (in Chinese) Why did you steal my food? [or something like that^^]. Ranma
then challenges Shampoo for the food, unfortunately, Ranma won^^. You might say:"Why is that unfortunate?". A quick and easy
answer is the IRC snippit above. The "Kiss of death" is something Amazons give to their opponent to tell them that they will be hunted-
down and killed. Ranma was given the kiss of death and ended up being chased all over China by Shampoo. Every restraunt and
street corner. Every hillside and forest. Oh well... Anyway Ranma finnaly escaped to Japan. But only for a short time. Appearently
Shampoo is very good at tracking. She followed Ranma all the way back to Japan. And eventually caught up with her(Ranma-chan)
in an ice cream shop. Ranma was most dissconcerted to see Shampoo. It's not exactly a good day when someone shoves a bonbori
up your face, ne? After the attack Ranma transforms back to a man and heads home with Akane. Upon arriving back at the Tendo
house Ranma is quite surprised to see a Chinese girl with purple hair waiting to kill his girl side^^. Fortunately Ranma's secret had not
yet been diverged to Shampoo. Shampoo quickly attacks Akane (accusing her of hiding Ranma-chan). When Ranma protects Akane
he accidentally breaks off a piece of Shampoo's bonbori, which in turn crashes down on Shampoo's head. Upon waking from the
stupor the blow put her in Shampoo proclaims "Wo ai ni" and "Ai lan" to Ranma (Wo ai ni= I love you | Ai lan= My husband). And
that's how it all started with Shampoo. :) (: .

Takahashi Rumiko (the original creater), Shogukan (the animation company which brings this wonderful story to life), Kitty Films (the
brodcasting company [I belive] that brought this fantastic series to screens all over Japan). And a coupleother companies too^^.
Also, Ranma Nibunoichi is liscensed to Viz Communications, for distrabutional purposes. Next subject: The pictures on this page do not
belong to me^^. I would like to know who owns them to give them due credit for their *creations*. But be nice! If you're nasty about it
