The story starts, when Chihaya and Kagetsuya still are on earth to fulfill their task as a plus and minus checker. During this Chihaya gets really often into trouble, because of he is really naive. So Kagetsuya is the one, who rescues him or helps him in many ways. The first parts of the mangas are single episodes. The two meet different kinds of people and Chihaya is often the one, who wants to help... 

The first pair are Taki and Toki, two artificial made human beings, then they meet other people, musicians, gangster... even other angel. Chiahaya is the one, who wants to help, and so gets a lot of problems. Because of this he often argues with Kagetsuya, cause the blond one want to stay out of problems and only tries to report to Eden. In some backflashs the reader get to know, how the two met, you'll get to know other angels, with the same tasks, like Aya and Miyagi. Aya is a female angle, and she likes Kagetsuya very much, and so she's sometimes a bit unfair towards Chihaya... 

The things, that aren't shown in the anime, you'll found in the 3rd and 4th volume of the manga! Chihaya and Kagetsuya became closer and finally they declare their love to each other. But this is something like a crime in Eden, because angels aren't allowed to love somebody from the same gender. So the two get to the court. And then the angels decide, that there are more bad actions and so, that the earth shall be detroyed.

Chihaya and Kagetsuya managed to escape somehow and the in some way, they can rescue the earth (sorry, but my japanese isn't that good to tell, whats happen!). The two flee to earth and decide to live there as human beings together.  

Another point are Chihayas black wings, that's called the black canger. Thats the reason for his black hair and black wings. The interesting parts of it, can only be found in the mangas... so if you want to know about it... 

All in all, a really good manga. I really like it, but unfortunately there isn't a cmplete translation of the mangas, so it's difficult to understand the mangas without knowing and reading japanese. But here in germany a company like to publish the mangas (I really hope so!). Who wants only take a look, should look for the animes (and the complete series can be found on DVD!!!). Here the last 2 episodes tell a complete new story, about Chaihaya and Kagetsuya... the two live on earth, a bit time after the war of Eden and Earth. They meet Messiah and soon after a new war starts...
