Finally,....
finally you're able to find a report about this great manga! I
really love this one, and you can say, it's my absolute favourite
manga! However, Kaine is only one manga (it's like boys next door),
and only has 110 pages! But the plot that are told is so good and so
much too... that you can fill 3 or 4 volumes, I think! Kaine is made
by Kaori Yuuki, and so the characters are really great and the
pictures are really enough to buy this one! |

But
you're not able to understand Kaine, without reading it. You really
have to read the whole 110 pages to understand the brillance of this
manga! It tooks me nearly 2 hours to read it, because it's a lot of
text, and the story is totally confused! If you think, you know
everything, Kaori Yuuki reject all of it, and bring it to another
point! So it's a story you have to think 2 times, to understand it,
and that's why I say, this is the manga with the best plot, I ever
read!
So
I kann recommend this volume to everybody, who like Kaori Yuuki,
great and confused stories and who like great artworks.... |

To sum the plot is really
impossible, but I try to do my best...
The
band Endorphine is the most popular group in the country and their
singer Kaine is so popular, that their are many fans whoemulate him
and dye their hair red. The music on the other side is in the news a
long time, because many accidents happens, because of consumption
the music. The fans become depressiv and commited suicide.
Soon
after Kaine and his twinbtbrother have an accident, which only one
of them survive. Kaines brother awakens in the hospital and has to
recognize, that his brother is dead, and he is Kaine now. They
changes the roles, he shall be the dead singer, because the music
company don't want to loose their best "money maker".

Die,
the guitar player of
Endorphine and later his only friend, is the
only one, who sees that this guy isn't Kaine after all. When
"Kaine" find out, that the car accident, where his brother
died, wasn't an accident, he tries to play the role, to find out, who
killed his brother. And he has to recognize how the real Kaine really
was. He wasn't the great and popular person, he admired, it's more the
opposit...

The events become more and more critical. More
and more girls where found dead and Kaine and Die found out, that the
music company isn't that innocent. The music of Endorphine are the
reasons, why the girls kills themselves, because they test something
(such things for the brain!).
At
the same moment the manager of the group plan the dead of Kaine. He
shall die like an idol. So she want to prevent Die from going to the
last day of their tour. He appears in the last moment, to save Kaine.
And then the whole story somersault. All the questions the reader has
are answered, and The end of the story is really amazing...

Who
is really the survivor of the car accident? Is it really Kaines twin,
who changes his idenity with Kaine or maybe is it Kaine himself in the
end? And what does Die knows in the end?
|

|
The questions gain the ascendancy and
till the last page you're not sure, if it's Kaine himself or maybe
only his twinbrother. Every hint is importent and when you think you
found out, the mangaka rejects everything and you can start again to
think about the story.
It's clear that the manga has some
changes which are difficult to understand, but that's why this plot
and story is such great!

In the end, I had the
feeling I read much more mangas, than only 100 pages, because it's
really amazing to put such a story on 100 pages!
