Well,
how should one begin here...At the beginning we meet 4 guys, who
work in a flower-shop during the day. Their clients an nearly all
female.
Especially
young female students besiege the flower-shop every day after school.
Like
this, the guys come to know, when something happens.
What
nobody knows, is, behind the 4 handsome salesmen stands the
underground organisation Weiß, who get missions by Persia, to judge
the ones, who cannot be judged by law. |

In
the beginning they solve small crimes and hunt down all sorts of bad
guys (preferring the ones, who make experiments with humans, mad
scientist etc.).
The
one who pulls the strings, is the most powerful man of Tokyo, Reiji
Takatori , against whom Aya feels a special hatred.
It
was him who caused the coma of his little sister.
So
they fight, until episode 15, against him, whose bodyguards is the
group Schwarz, which is considerably stronger than Weiß and who
possess -additional to that- supernatural powers.
In
addition to them, arrives the group Schreient, consisting of 4 girls,
one of them remembering Youji of a female partner of former times.
Bit
by bit one gets to know a little bit about the past of every one.
Especially
Omi has to discover, that Reiji Takatori is his father ( well,
actually, he isn’t really…) an that therefore he is a member of
the family.
Additionally
Ohka dies, a young girl , he loves. Later he gets to know, that Ohka
has been his half-sister.

But
the others are not missed out.
Since
episode 16, the series is at its end not for a long time yet!
A
new main-plot begins…
Persia
is replaced by Barmann, Weiß gets their missions by her. A new
group has been built, …”Eszet” (ß), which-like you get to
know-had held a certain power over Takatori.
In
addition to that, Aya and Co. meet Schwarz again, who are now in the
service of Eszet. The aim of this group, is the total revolution (I
believe they are a kind of sect…), to achieve their aim, they
kidnap the little sister of Aya, because she didn’t get older,
since she fell in the
coma.
The
last combat begins…where a young girl plays a big role

Puh...everything
clear now? Well…whereas the first episodes look like episodes to
full fill , something important happens in every later episode…one
can hardly sum up everything here.
But
because we are lucky to watch the series on DVD, I don’t wanna
spoil too much.
The
animations are ok, partly they seem a bit sloppy (no budget?) ,but
generally speaking it’s pretty well done. The music is wonderful,
the story too, is there anything left to ask for? It’s logical,
that shortly after that, the OVA “Verbrechen und Strafe” was
produced, telling another story (Aya/Youji vs Omi/Ken).

This
one has also a very surprising ending….but I’m not going to
spoil anything ^^;
Right
now, the 2. season “Glühen is produced and finally started in
October, after a lot of legal problems with the former mangaka Kyoko
Tsuchiya. That's the reason the studio has to change the complete
design of the characters.
The
manga of Weiß Kreuz- consisting of 2 volumes tells some kind of
prelude of Weiß and reference on how Aya joined the group…the
unending masses of doujinshis,…well, you have to look for yourself
, you will find everything, reaching from yaoi to parodies….
