Laures was a german prince once.
He became the successor of the demon prince Marion. After killing
Marion, because the demon killed Laures beloved, he became the ruler
of the demon world Makai. There he is witing for his beloved,
who is reincarnate in the humans world. When that happend, Laures
destroyed her nation, the Azel, and hide the sword of the Azel
in her body. this sword is able to kill him. Well Laures is
really possessed by Hilda, its kinda like Koji and Izumi from
Zetsuei, but here Hilda loves him too. Laures is really cruel and
unfeeling. But he change a bit during the volumes and maybe he
became a nice demon later... ^_-

Well, Hilda is
a young and beautiful woman, who loves Laures. Typical for the
female part of the story, Hilda get's into trouble really often, so
that smebody has to save her, mostly Laures. Of course Laures won't
do this, when there are no reasons for... but Hilda is the
reincarnation of his past love, Elise. For this woman Laures became
a demon. The sword of Azel is in her body. Laures hide it, and
erease all her memorys of the war against her nation. He brought her
into a foreign village. Hilda works here as a dancer. She is a very
good friend of Sherril, but you can say, that Tetei is a enemy of
her...

Tetei
is completly crazy about Laures, he sees him like some kind of god.
But Laures isn't very interested in beeing the ruler about Makai, he
loves it to be in the human world together with Hilda.
Of
course Tetei didn't like it, and well he really hate Hilda. So he
tries to get rid of her. So he awakenes Zadei, but his plans reach
the opposite, because it isn't that easy to control Zadei as he
thinks...
Tetei
really doesn't look like a demon, with his white wings, he more
looks like an angel. He met Laures, when the demon saves Tetei. You
can say, he started the whole story... well at least in the first 5
mangas...

The only demon, who is able to fight
against Laures, their powers are quite equal. He was imprisoned for
a long time (because of Laures), until tetei break the seal. Now his
biggest wish is to kill Laures. Zadei is sometimes like a kid,
impulsive and emotional. He isn't really that bad guy, but sometimes
you'll really hate him (when you like Tetei...).
He said sometimes, that he loves
Tetei, but its only an annoyance for Tetei. But you can say, that
Zadei loves Tetei that much as Laures Hilda. He did later everything
for Tetei, even if this one really doesn't want it...

(Rod) |

Rod is also a survivor of the Azel. He has the ability
to heal people and he loves Hilda deeply. Before Laures erease her
memories the two were a pair. Rod is selected by the priestress
Maruka and from Kaimei to take revenge for their nation. Rod is a
nice and good-natured boy, who really has to bear a heavy fate...

| Sherril |
| She
is one of my favourite characters from seimaden. Sherril is a nice,
sweet girl, who is very ill. She hasn't got the money to go to an
hospital and she and Hilda live together. She calls Tetei always
"Tenshi-sama" /= Angel-same ^^;) and he always tells her,
that he isn't an angel. But the two match together I think. Only
their opinions about Hilda are completly different... |

| Graf Berk |
| A crazy psycho, with a faible for beautiful things. His
beautiful face is hide behind a mask, because he seemed to have an
accident. The people say, that nobody came back, who went to his
castle. he is a quite interesting and also malicious chara. You can
say his only mistake is, he want to have Laures in his collection of
beautiful things. For this aim, he even ally himself with Zadei, and
of course this one wants to have a service in return. |

| Karoun |
| He is the ruler of the spiritual world. He is really cunning
and you can say he hold all the things in his hand, when he appears
in the 6th volume. he has so called life flowers of the humans and
so he can decide over them. karoun is mysterious malicious and quite
good looking ^^; |

| Iria |
| Iria is Karouns sister. She is a vivacious girl, that loves
her own freedom and is able to read the thoughts of other people.
She is in love with Laures and so in the end she turns against her
brother. |

| Asubaru |
| You
only see this guy in black clothes and on the first look, he lokks
like a murderer or something like that. But he has a funny and
bright personality. Asubaru takes care of Rod and is together with
rabi/Maruka very often. he has a big secret, but youhave to wait
till the 8 volume, t find out, what it is. |

| Rabi/Maruko |
In this little boy lives the soul of the highprietress maruka.
She took over his body, when her own was destroyed. She tries to
hide it a long time, and tries to act like Rabi. Later she often
tells Rod, that he has to revenge the Azel and that he is the
Messiah...
