  First of all Tenchi Muyo RPG is in Japanese, but it is playable for people who can't read Japanese. The battles for the most part are fairly easy, with the exception of a few scenarios (the first battle and fighting six Ryoko clones on the third level come to mind). Tenchi seems to be the most powerful with Ryoko in close second. Sasami, Yosho, Aeka, Wasyu, and Ryo-oh-ki are mediocre, although Wasyu, Aeka and Sasami come in very handy with their healing abilities. The worst characters are that little pink robot (I don't know it's name) and Mihoshi; Mihoshi has a long attack range with her GP gun but its damage is very limited; what's worse, she can completely miss her target at times. Even so, every character has his/her place in the game. Once trained to the max, no one can be called a soft ball. My ending party consisted of: Tenchi, Aeka, Ryoko and Sasami. Overall I liked the game after I figured out how to work the menues, Tenchi fans will probably get a kick out of this RPG. Unfortunantly the game is a measly three levels, each consisting of six locations each. It took me only about seven hours to beat. It's short but fun.
