Like her older sister, Aeka, Sasami is a princess. Unlike her older sister, Sasami exhibits the innocence only a young princess can exude. And unlike other characters currently
dwelling in the Masaki residence, Sasami is a character of great
complication and of great simplicity. Indeed, once you've laid eyes upon
the little goddess, you will be totally confused by this special trait of
hers. Innocent yet intelligent, young yet responsible, beautiful yet
kawaii, Sasami-chan is full of these wonderful "paradox!" ^_^
Yes, can you believe it? Sasami-chan possesses cuteness that leaves even The Person Who You'd Mistakenly Thought Was the Cutest Person In The Galaxy in the dust! If you can look at her for one minute and the word kawaii does not strike BOLD in your mind, you don't know what kawaii means! ^_-
The most distinguishing feature of Sasami-chan, aside from her innocent and
irresistable smile, is her long light-blue hair, which like her older sister
Aeka, she wears in a twin-tail fashion. But unlike her sister Aeka, Sasami's
two tails do not get tied down to the back but are instead left adrift to the
sides. Her large luminiscent eyes are of pinkish colour, much like ones
commonly seen on a rabbit, with shapes that always seem to suggest innocence
and purity. Her face is a little plum which makes her look very, very
kawaii! She's also got a fairly skim figure (what did you expect from
an eight year old child? ^_-).
Let's face it. Without Sasami, the whole Tenchi gang would eventually die of starvation. Once upon a time, Tenchi's dad took care of the sustanence ordeal with his substandard cooking skill and take-out foods, but now with the house relocated to its new position, Nobuyuki's return to his home has been few and far in between. Now, Sasami-chan takes on the responsibility of "making meals"... sorry, make that "crafting delicacies" for her new family. ^_- As an interesting side note, at least one of the dinner plates will contain carrots in it. Why? you ask. See below.
OK, so this is a Sasami page, but hey, anyone who knows anything about Tenchi Muyo! knows that Sasami-chan and Ryo-oh-ki-chan are an inseparable pair! Ever since the adorable little cabbit's birth in the 3rd episode of the 1st OVA series, we've rarely seen one without the other running around somewhere in the immediate vicinity. Ryo-chan especially loves to sit on Sasami's head and act as her hat.
So if you ever want to see what it would be like if man and beast were in
perfect harmony, take a look at the duo. Meow!
Tsunami, recognized as the most powerful Juraian tree/spaceship capable of producing ten Light Hawk Wings... through a strange set of events revealed to us in the 9th OVA episode, this member of the Three Goddesses is somehow connected to the little Sasami. Whenever danger draws near, Sasami can foresee visions of the future through "Tsunami's Dreams." When this happens, the Emblem of Power on her forehead glows.
Beautiful, wise, compassionate, Tsunami serves to enhance Sasami's already
indominable personality.
