The second TV series for Tenchi
Muyo! Shin Tenchi Muyo! places emphasis on the 'what ifs'
scenarios. For instance, what if Tenchi moves away from Okayama
while the other girls stayed behind? What if Tenchi has a date with
Ryoko? How about a date with Sasami? What if Ryo-oh-ki runs away from
home? What if Tenchi meets an ordinary school girl on Earth and falls in
love with her? How will the other girls react to this?
A boy meets a girl -- Tenchi meets Sakuya, who expresses her affections for him on
the first day they meet in school. Tenchi inevitably falls in love with
Sakuya, but their love relationship isn't as simple as it seems.
Thus begins a brand new adventure for the Tenchi gang...
The North American release of Shin Tenchi Muyo! will go under the
title Tenchi in Tokyo.
