My Melody Origami!

This is the first origami of this type that I ever did, and it turned out quite nicely if I do say so myself. I got the pattern for this one from my Sanrio origami book. I used white printer paper for the body and face and shiny red wrapping paper for the hood and ears (this was before I found a place to buy packets of origami paper all one color). Since this was the first one it took me awhile to get started cuz I wasn't sure how to make the base and the instructions were in Japanese, but after a few false starts I got rolling and finished it in a couple days (I was on vacation at the time and I had nothing else to do so it didn't take me that long ^^). But, once I had finished it all, I accidentally knocked it over (before I had added glue to secure it) and the head fell off. It was very hard to put back together cuz I had already added the eyes and stuff so I couldn't take apart it all apart. As a result, some of the neck pieces aren't really in place, but (luckily) you can't see that unless you look inside ^^;
