It is my masterpiece!!! I got the timing so perfect on this one... that's prolly why it took me about three hours to make. Another reason it took three hours to make was prolly cuz Windows Movie Maker is really slow and annoying to use. Let's see... how did I come up with the concept for this vid? Well, I was looking through the files on my new puter and I found this free video making prog. I experimented with it a bit and then came up with the idea for this vid. I actually picked the song first (although this isn't the type of music i usually listen to, i really like this song) and I had recently figured out how to rip vids from video game cds. I had the vid all mapped out in my head and I finally got time to make it, and here it is ^^ Originally, I wanted this vid to be about Aeris, but it ended up being more about the love stories in the three games. oh yes, WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD-- for all three games; since I used footage from the endings there are some small spoilers, and there are major spoilers if you haven't gotten past disc 1 for both 7 and 8.

Vid Name: Smooth Criminal

With Scenes from: Xenogears File Type: .wmv (requires Windows Media Player) Program used to create this vid: Windows Movie Maker (boooo, hissss) Comments: This is the first Xenogears MV ever! (i think...) This is the second MV I made, also with WMM, which continued to be slow and annoying. I did not take as much time to make this vid as the last one, but that's not to say that it isn't as good as the first. After I made my first vid I decided that I wanted to make an MV for Xenogears but it took me a while to pick the song. The song is actually a cover of an old Michael Jackson hit... I like this version better ^^ This one has a lot more anger in it than the last one, so if you like Xenogears and rock music, then this is the perfect vid for you. Once again, I wanted the vid to be all about Elly (she's the "Annie" that the singer talks about), but it ended up being about both her and Fei. Basically, I took every shot of Elly that I could find and stuck it in here ^^; The "smooth criminal" in the song is Krelian, but I don't think that's made very obvious by the vid. I added in that little bit after the credits cuz I thought the ending to the vid was too pesimistic ^^ also, WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD; I used clips from the ending and other scenes later in the game, so there are some definite spoilers here.

With Scenes from: Final Fantasy 8 File Type: .avi (requires DivX Codec) Program used to create this vid: Magix Music & Video Maker Generation 6 Comments: This vid was bascially me experimenting with my new video making program. I actually got the idea for this song from another vid I saw (using this song with footage from Oh! My Goddess!). It was a good vid, but I didn't think the song went with that series, so I decided to use it for FF8. It fits that love story rather well, I suppose. Yes, it's an incredibly sappy song. I really liked it before they overplayed it. This vid prolly took me the longest to make out of all of them (I didn't finish it all in one sitting, either). Not because it's more complicated than the others (it's by far not the best), but because I was just getting used to my new video making program and things kept going wrong. Well, I finally finished it and figured out how to extract the vid so that it didn't skip or pause or anything, and here it is. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD; I used footage from the ending of the game (at the end of the vid, appropriately), so be prepared for some spoilers.
