My version of a cel gallery. If I've managed to locate it, take a look at the video clip that contains the cel, but don't blink.

		You are going to need Real Player to view these clips. Download time is negligible. Netscape is a little temperamental with video, in fact, this whole site looks plain weird in any browser other than Internet Explorer. If for any (other) reason these clips do not work on your system, please let me know. I want to make this stuff available to as many people as possible. DBZ:

	Want to hear a very sad story? One day I stumbled onto a site that had an interview with the creator of the anime series Dragonball Z. It contained innocent questions about plot and character design, but then came the bomb. "Mr. Toriyama, who is your least favorite character?" The response? Yes...it's true, if you chose to accept it. Akira Toriyama doesn't like Vegeta. Well I adore the widow-peaked Prince, and if anything, I think his unintentional appeal only makes him that much more interesting.

	This one takes place during the Saiyan Saga battle between Veggy and Goku. The battle which is, by far, my favorite in all of DBZ. No weird metrosexual lizards or genocidal baby villians, just good Saiyan vs. bad boy Saiyan. And let's face it, the appeal of this black-hair-that-defies-gravity alien race is the reason we all watch the show. This cel, I believe, is after Goku has arrived and by Veggy's bloody chin (which they censored in the Cartoon Network version) and perturbed expression, I'm assuming Kakarot has gotten in a few good licks by this point.

	Early Veggy was so childlike. This is yet another shot from the Saiyan battle. Never again do Vegeta and Goku duke it out like this so I'm definitely partial to cels from this saga.

	My first cel. I bought this and immediately took it to a frame shop so I could spend twice as much on the display as I did the artwork. HMMMM, I'm lame. But, you need to make sure your cels are protected, right? The color in this cel is what drew me to it. That, and the fact that thirteen-year-old Trunks only looks right in DBZ. (GT artwork in general is too "cartoony" for me)
	If you haven't seen The Trunks TV Special yet, then make it a priority. Although at times excruciatingly slow, the DBZ series delivers some unbelievable pay-offs. This special is one of them. The tragedy of the royal half-breed is very moving. I hold this special up as an example that animation, and more specifically anime, is no cartoon, but a powerful example of great storytelling and possibly even the best median to convey emotion. In other words, it makes me feel tingly all over.

	Who can resist an expression like this? Other than that, I have only one thing to say about Gohan, the kid filled out well. This one's my first key/end cel.
Episode 206 or 207	My fansub collection stops at 204, then picks up again at 2,345 (or so). I'm basically missing the entire Buu saga up until Vegeta's death. Ack! I forgot....ummm... *warning*...spoiler? Geesh, come on, you knew he died, right? Crud, now I feel bad.
