My version of a cel gallery. If I've managed to locate it, take a look at the video clip that contains the cel, but don't blink.

You are going to need Real Player to view these clips. Download time is negligible. Netscape is a little temperamental with video, in fact, this whole site looks plain weird in any browser other than Internet Explorer. If for any (other) reason these clips do not work on your system, please let me know. I want to make this stuff available to as many people as possible.

RANMA 1/2:

I would say two is my favorite season, but I am not sure. Know why? 'Cuz I was recently informed by a classmate that Ranma actually has SEVEN SEASONS!!! I did not know that. Silly me, I've only seen what's available in dubbed version. (Ohh, I can hear the subbies screaming from here) So, out of the four I've seen, this season is by far my favorite. I guess I'll just have to start looking for the subbed version and get used to new voices; although anything has to be better than Ranma's "new" dubbed voice in season four. Bring back Sarah Strange! She's very in touch with her cursed Japanese boy side. This is an opening shot used in season 2-5.

	God I love this series. Especially the first and second season. Although the animation may not be quite up to par with the likes of such series' as Gundam W, the story is truly irresistible. I dig close-ups of Ranma showing off those baby blues. And hey, what's up with the Ryoga fang action?
?	I am at a loss once again. Because this series has numerous seasons, OVA's and movies, Ranma cels aren't always the easiest to identify. The torn shirt should help to narrow down the field a bit, not to mention the fact he's wearing red and he's outside (I think). I have a feeling this cel is from earlier in the series. Anyone have an inclining? Email me.

Ok, it may not look like much, but I bought it for all the right reasons. I adore this episode. It happens early in the series, but still manages to feel like a rare tender moment for the intended couple. A surprisingly calm Akane is trying to tell Ranma, "Don't say another word or I'll get the other cheek".

I apologize for the funky sound on this one. I haven't been able to capture audio and video at the same time, so until I find someone to show me what I'm doing wrong, I've been having to sync up the clip in Premiere. Not tough considering the lip movements aren't too accurate in dubs anyway.

Many times this series heads in some pretty strange directions. (The whole "ghost-cat" plot-line comes to mind... Someone was tweeking on pain killers when they came up with that story) But the three "ice-skating" episodes absolutely kick keister. They primarily have to do with Ranma and Akane's relationship, and the dialogue makes me laugh. Ohhhh golly...I'm so stupid and squooshy when it comes to these two.

This cel flashes by quickly and I almost didn't catch it. But you gotta love this scene. Ranma starts out so determined and ends up sooo distorted.

Have you noticed the pattern yet? I'm a sucker for cels that really capture the moment. In this aspect, it's a lot like photography. So, to me, this cel represents a story. Also, a few special effects were used here (as you can see from the screencap) so it's painted black on the back.

This is from the second Ranma 1/2 movie. The plot is set so each male character must save their female counterpart...more or less. Of course, it builds up to an enourmous finale with Ranma making the ultimate sacrafice for his fiance. The animation in these last sequences is a treat. A true step-up from the TV series.
