>> Rath Eryucer Shrine Index >> Rath's Seiyuu
Rath has gone through 3 seiyuu in his career as a Dragon
Knight.
The first of Ohkami Mineko's works to be dramatizated
on CD was "Densetsu no Kokuou wo Sagase" ["Legend of King Sagase"] released
in 1991. This CD mook was re-released in 1994 when the Dragon Knights Drama
CD was released. The CD also includes a Dragon Knights side story as an
omake and thus was the first time Rath had a 'voice'. Since the seiyuu
chosen to do the voices for the Dragon Knight omake drama are those from
the "Densetsu no Kokuou wo Sagase' drama, the voices are different from
the Dragon Knight characters in the DK drama series. For the side story
in the "Densetsu no..." drama CD, the seiyuu for Rath was Iwata Mitsuo
(Kojiro - Tyler, Dispell - Tenshi Ni Narumon, Mitsuru - Greenwood, Ryuma
- Power Stone)
The seiyuu that is probably most often associated with
Rath, [and the one that I am used to from the drama CDs] is Seki Tomokazu.
Seki Tomokazu was the voice actor for drama CDs volumes 1 through 4. He
is also the voice behind Rath for the Dragon Knights Image Music CD.
Other roles Seki has done are: (Domon - G Gundam, Chichiri - FY, Murai
- GTO, Van - Vision of Escaflowne, Kamui - X, Touji - Neon Genesis Evangelion,
Touya - Card Captor Sakura, Shuichi - Gravitation)
For the 5th volume DK drama CD, the company releasing
the cd's was changed to Shinshokan from Animate Film. At the same
time, the cast also changed. In the 5th drama CD, Rath's seiyuu is Ishikawa
Hiderou (Katou Yuusuke - Graduation M ^_^) |
