What is Kurai Cat? Kurai Cat is a series of Stories and Manga that involve an Evil Cat named Stormy. First of all, "kurai" means "dark" in Japanese. And since Stormy is just that (in a nutshell), it seems appropriate. I got a crazy idea that Stormy was indeed an evil cat. Just because my idea was crazy doesn't mean that it's not true. Stormy's character is based solely on Stephi's kitty, who is NOT innocent... Stormy is about as innocent as I am normal. Which I'm not. b. Where can I find it? Well, you're HERE, aren't you? The stormish one can be found here, as well as Stephi's house... or perhaps in the fiery pits of hell (same thing.. hehe j/k), in the Isle of Shadows (a world he has created), or right where you are. He's watching you know. If you gotta read the Stor(m)ies, scroll to the bottom of this Guide and find the site! c. Who wrote this? Stormy lived it, but Floatz and I have documented these events so you can take heed and stay away from the Dark One. NO, they are not intended for amusement purposes! ............... nobody believes us... Do what you will, but when you're choking on your last breath of air, you'll remember us... and how you didn't listen... Then you'll be sorry. II - The Basics =============== a. Characters ------------ |===============================================================================================| |WARNING!!!: Ok, a little warning about the characters. Teeny and I have no intention of hurting| |anybodies feelings, because some of the people portrayed might be insulting. So, don't take it | |personally! | |===============================================================================================| Lets see...a little bit about each of the characters so far: Stormy - One word-- EVIL. Don't listen to what others may say that contradicts that-they don't realize how easily he could hold their pitiful lives by a hair in the instant that they utter the words that he is "cute" or something of the like. No. He likes to play with his food. Torture is his deal. Slow and painful is the way to do it. Quick and painless stuff are usually ushers and that might stain his fur. So continue calling him cute, cuddly, lovable, and innocent. We'll see if you still think that as he one day casually toys with a voodoo doll RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU as you wince in pain. Teeny - Stormy's .......friend.... I guess (I use the term VERY loosely). She's definitely not your average girl. She is a bit of a tomboy, and can be shy, quiet, and reserved depending on who you are. On the other hand, she can be lively and won't shut up. Most people tend to see her anti-social side more than the other side, therefore dubbing her as a socially-unacceptable kitty (even though she's not a cat.... whatever.). Shadow - Shadow...well what can I see? Basically she is the most insightful and intelligent member of the UCA, or Underground Cat Alliance (more about that later). She is a solitary entity, and she is another socially unacceptable cat. Yet, in a way, she means no harm. But, don't get on her bad sign. She found Henshin! Floaty - Teeny's pal. He serves as a worthy opponent on video games. He is short tempered, realistic, and can be quite blunt about things, but like Teeny, he is a schizophrenic (muahaha.. we rule.) and can be quite lively and animated as well. Floaty is a bit on the mysterious side, which irritates a certain unmentionable (hehe). He is unpredictable, which makes his character appealing to some... unmentionables... or whatever. Flame - Flame is the dictator of the UCA. He is the arrogant and overly-powerful leader. He controls the minds of almost all of the members of the UCA. He destroys all non-followers. Yes, his is very EEVVIILL. His enemies are Stormy and Shadow, the ones he cannot control. He is in pact with the Devil, and hates humans. So, STAY AWAY!!! Stephi - Just read the stor(m)ies, and you can find out. Niji - Niji is the complete opposite of Stormy. He is a nice, gental, sweet MALE cat (that is the only thing not opposite). He is basically the image of a white knight. He joined the UCA because of the help it might be to other cats, but he has learned otherwise. He is very limited in his insight and can't seem to see what might happen. Don't piss him off, because he is as powerful as Stormy is!!! Oreo - Stormy's brainless sidekick. Stormy doesn't really like him much, but he serves as a suitable guinea pig for experimental magic. The Basic Stuff ------------------ LIFE FORCE ---------- Well, because this is such a complicated subject, I am not going to go into detail here. But this is how much you are in tune with the universe. Sounds stupid? Well, keep in mind it is what allows a Mahouzukai to function as powerful as they are. Everybody has life force, just not as much as the most powerful people on Earth, or in the universe for that matter. Nobody knows how to gain life force, it is just granted to you by something. Technically you could be able to acheive higher levels by slaying creatures and stealing their souls, but we cannot yet trap souls. The only way to combine souls is through Yuu-Kai, or fusion (see below). And that must be a mutual thing. Well, it gets lots more complicated. If you must know more, you can contact me (Floatz) below and ask your question, or just ask me at school. c. Abilities ------------ II - Combat =========== a. Basic Combat --------------- III - Techniches ================ a. Henshin ---------- The race of cats that can use Henshin are called the Mahouzukai no Jinshu. A Mahouzukai is a cat who can manuipulate their surroundings, and change the way life essence works. In a sence, Magic can be used for evil. And evil magic is more power. To accomplish Henshin, a Mahouzukai must: 1. Be stronger than an average Mahouzukai 2. Be able to control their life force. 3. Have a direction in life (ex: Want to kill another cat). For the first few times a Mahouzukai accomplishes Henshin, it must be by extreme rage or pain. Afterwards, it shall become easier to slip into Henshin until it is second nature. When a Mahouzukai is in Henshin, it is stronger than any human. They look like a human, but have large ears and have a long tail. Each sex of cat takes on it's respective human characteristics. While a Mahouzukai is in Henshin, THEY CANNOT BE KILLED BY ANYTHING OTHER THAN ANOTHER MAHOUZUKAI! This means that most Mahouzukai will not die after reaching Henshin. In fact, some Mahouzukai have lived indefinitly, or until their life essence ran out! A Mahouzukai will lose Henshin after either being drained by another Mahouzukai, or after their life force is drained. It is possible for a Mahouzukai to give themselves more life force by taking anothers. This is called Kyuuketsu. A Mahouzukai can continue as long as they wish by using Kyuuketsu. The only problem is that each time they steal life force, their life essance becomes more fragile. Rule #2 says that they must control their life force to accomplish Henshin. If at any time a Mahouzukai loses control, their life force will escape them, and they will be left as an empty body which CANNOT be ressurected. Henshin Stages -------------- Level 1 - Shinri (Psycho) Level 2 - Akumu (Nightmare) Level 3 - Haipaoni (Hyper Demon) Level 4 - Akuma (Devil) There are different stages of Henshin. Each has it's own benifits and weaknesses. All of their benifits are cummunative. That means all of the side affects will pile up! The first is Shinri, or Psycho. It is the first Henshin Stage. When a Mahouzukai goes Henshin, this is the stage they will be at. The Mahouzukai morphs into a human-like creature (see above). They glow of a slight silvery aura. Their power will become thousands of times higher than when they were just plain old Mahouzukai. The second stage of Henshin is Akumu, or Nightmare. The reason it is called Nightmare is because this stage tends to be more unstable than the other two. Very rarly does a Mahouzukai come into this stage because it is such a large step from Shinri Henshin. The Akumu Mahouzukai glows with a golden aura, and often will their hair will be sleek. They are quick and agile, and can take a great amount of punishment before pain sets in. I mentioned before that this stage is more unstable than the others. Because of the giant step between Shinri and Akumu, the stress on life force is high, which may lead to loss of control. The third level of Henshin is Haipaoni, or Hyper Demon. Yes, you heard me. Hyper Demon...this level forces the Mahouzukai into an erratic state of mental instablitity. In other words, they lose control of their bodies and mind. They will attack allies instead of foes, and are easily charmed. The main benifits of Haipaoni are highly increased Dexterity and Strength. The final stage of Henshin is Akuma, or Devil. This is the most powerful Henshin stage due to the fact that the Akuma Mahouzukai moves at the speed of light naturally. They also have almost infinite power and energy. They can easily destroy anything that isn't up to par with them in power. This is what makes this stage very stable. But, this is not so pysically & mentally. The extreme shock of just having massive amounts of energy flow through the Akuma Mahouzukai can cause internal problems, such as heart and breathing trouble. It will cause insanity. Only 1 in 1,000,000 Mahouzukai can reach this level. Only 1 in 750,000 of those 1,000,000 can remain stable in Akuma Henshin. b. Yuu-kai ---------- Yuu-kai, or fusion, is a very powerful techniche in which one Mahouzukai merges with another to combine their life force. This, in affect, combines their souls and makes them one whole entity with massive amounts of power. All that is required is that the Mahouzukai who takes the other one in be at Shinri Henshin or above. The stress requires the human shape and power of the Shinri Mahouzukai. The life force is affectivly added together when the two combine. This means that if the total is depleted, the one whole entity is destoryed, not just one. Also, if the fighter splits out in the two seperate Mahouzukai, they both end up with the same anount of life force (Total Left/2) unless this is more than one of the fighters, in which case the other fighter recives the balance: EXAMPLE - Fren has 10000 life force, while Sam had 5000. Added together when they fuse is 15000. They fight for a while, then they split with 11000 remaining life force. Sam can only have 5000, so Fren gets 6000 back. Well, now with the stupid rules out of the way, how does the fusion work? Well, the two Mahouzukai hold hands and focus their soul onto the other. The exact way to do this is not known, but the Shinri "excepts" the force into him and their bodies flicker out of time and space. When they come back, they are one. The physical shape is that of the Shinri Mahouzukai's body, but the physical characteristics are that of the stronger life force. You can experiment and see what they could look like (Manga might include a drawing a Yuu-Kai pair). Stay creative. c.
