Artemis bids you hello, and welcome to the 2nd page of Beast Wars cels. ^_^
This page (and everything on page 3)
is actually quite a happy story; I purchased a lot of BW cels off
YJ, and when they arrived, I ended up not only with the expected cels, but tons of
extra goodies!
This is probably the cutest I've ever seen Artemis; this cel
just makes me want to smile.

Nice multi-layer setup from BWII, of Lio Convoy and Apache, and the little pink
and green robot thingie, whose name eludes me. I love the colours in the
background.
This cel came with the sketches, a very nice rough layout for the
scene, and a correction
layer for Lio Convoy. (I didn't scan with the correction on just because I couldn't
get it to stay lined up correctly.) It's hard to see in this image, but the spot
below his eyes is supposed to be the grey colour, and not blue like his upper face.

A lovely A1End cel, and a positively gorgeous background & foreground. I scanned
the bg & fg seperately, just because I loved them so much. Some day I shall have
to make an area in the gallery for such things.
Came with not only
the matching sketch and the time sheet, but also several wonderful rough layout
sketches for the characters and background. I'm always so giddy when I get these;
I tend to like them more than the actual cels. There's just such a real artistic
feeling to them..

Bighorn and Tazmanian Kid from BW II in a shoot-out. This is another really nice
package. The characters are one layer, and the laserfire is another. Also came with
two cels to use for the waterfall effect (the little white lines) A1, and A2End. Also
a whole slew of preproduction sketches along with the matched genga, a photocopy
of one layout (emphasizing the characters,) an original layout that focuses on
the background, and the timesheet.

Another keen, and very full setup, this one BW Neo.
Magmatron's the A1End cel, and the cute buggy
is B1. Another truly gorgeous background. ^_^ I love that throne.
Came with
the sketches, and an additional 3 roughs of the bug, one of Magmatron, a photocopy
layout with some additional sketching on it, and an original layout. Oh, and the
timesheet.

Later in the above scene, perhaps. Perhaps not, I really don't know, but it
seems likely.
A closer shot of the cute little
bug-bot. It really is utterly precious. I like the colour scheme, and the silly
little claws.

The last of the big setups, and another one from Neo. This one's also a very nice monotone piece.
Came with the time sheet, which is covered in all sorts of little notes, as
well as several roughs, mostly concentrating on the background. Interestingly,
the background is covered with an oversized piece of acetate. I'm not sure if
this was just to protect the background (it doesn't have anything extra that seems
to need protecting, though) or to achieve some cinematographic effect. There's no
hint of a foreground, anyway, and no markings on the acetate. The real cel is A1.

Came with the above cel. This actually consists of several layers, a couple
of which are almost entirely lines without paint. (You may notice that the figure
in the back is all line corrections.) Also came with several sketches of the
various elements.

This cel was one of the primary reasons I decided to get this lot of cels in the
first place. I was looking around for a nice BW Starscream, because I love him
so, and this one fit the bill. In the end, it got somewhat overshadowed by all
the other goodies I got. ^_^;; Somewhat ironic, I guess. Still, he's so cute!

A nice close-up of Dirge, from BWII; he's the less-wonky of the Dirge & Thrust
duo, and a likeable enough villain. He didn't quite stand out to me as much as some
of the others did, but..well...he's a robot gourmet. ^_^;; I can't say no to something
like that.

Another from the same sequence as above; I prefer the one with the shading on the
visor, so I may some day sell this one. Anybody interested is welcome to make offers
or inquire, since I'm usually not inclined to take any definitive action toward
selling cels, most of the time. ^_^;;
