(NFS)	Chronologically, this doesn't really belong here, since the next three cels all came first. All the same, I couldn't resist putting a new cel up top to celebrate finally having enough Dastun cels to justify giving him his own page. For a long time, I thought I'd never find a cel of my favourite major. It's been a long, slow process, but I think it's finally coming along. Here Dastun realizes that Dorothy's a little heavier than she looks.
(NFS)	My first good cel of Major Dan Dastun, my absolute favourite character from The Big O. I have yet to figure it out, but it seems that I sometimes have a thing for the gruff, serious, elder guys with facial hair. I can't even explain my own tastes. Regardless, I adored Dastun from the get-go, even without knowing why. I love how you can see his cute little ears, and his buggy head-vein. I want to squeeze him.
(NFS)	Hoohah! Finally, another cel of Dastun. Still mavourite Big O character by far; I've had miserable luck finding many cels of him for sale. Another one to show off his cute, dinky ears, and the creepy head-vein I so adore. Dastun is just a cool, cool guy. I was terribly pleased to see this one come along.
(NFS)	Fwoom. So there I was, at Anime Link's booth at AX04. Browsing through the books of VHD:Bloodlust cels, then the Tennimon book, finally skimming along through a bit of this and that. Then I found The Big O book. I can't say as I expected to find anything I'd have to have, but I flipped the page, and there it was. A bright light shone from above and the angels sang a heavenly choir from somewhere around the foodcourt. There it was. ...That is to say, I knew I had to have it. It didn't take a second thought. I love this cel. While it isn't one of THE most perfect Dastun moments I could ever hope for, it's pretty darned close. My favourite episode from the series, and one of my favourite scenes. I love it. Very, very much.
(NFS)	That's right, here's another from the same sequence. I honestly didn't intend to get a second one. I'm not sure now which came first, but I apparently forgot that I'd already purchased a cel from this sequence and picked up another. I didn't even realize it until I was hunting up all the cels I needed to add to the site. As you can see, each came with a background. Unfortunately, I'm fairly certain that neither is matching. As I recall, it should be a city street in the background, not some vague tiles.
(NFS)	Dastun's eyes are a little wonky here, but it's still a very nice shot. My memory's not great, but I think this comes from the scene at Roger's place, as he's looking through Roger's things. This shot really makes his head look pretty small compared to the size of his body, doesn't it?
(NFS)	Dastun has words with Roger. Words. I'll be honest, I can't begin to remember what episode this is from. It isn't as if Roger and Dastun having a disagreement is a really unusual thing, either. This seems to be how most of their interactions end up. But it's okay, because they're secretly buddies, even if they try not to show it. Once again, I'm pretty sure this background isn't matching. I couldn't say for certain, but I want to say this is taking place in Dastun's office. The probability of being wrong is quite high. Still, I got most of these recent Big O cels from the same source, and they were all accompanied by backgrounds that don't look matching, and higher than average prices. I kind of got the feeling that they were priced as if they were supposed to be matching, but I wanted them enough that I didn't care.
(NFS)	A cozy little scene of Roger and Dastun hanging out, being decidedly more buddy-buddy than is their usual. I really liked this scene, which was a particular motivation in getting this piece. It really made me wish I could have seen them back in the old days, when they were working together. I'm really not sure if it's a non-matching background, or a matching one with a foreground element missing. Either way, I'm pretty sure they weren't magical, levitating photos.
