I got these four cels as a set; I think I've mentioned multiple times elsewhere my love
of characters in unusual outfits, and that would be the reasoning behind this purchase.
It was just one of those irresistable temptations, one of those things which called to me.

Yes, this is the true reason I couldn't resist this cel lot. Even if it is a girl,
I couldn't possibly say no to somebody dressed as the Phantom! I just adore this cel.
God, I'm such a dorky Phantom fan... (Now if only this Momoko would dress up in a Les Miserables costume, then I'd be all set...) |

Random cel picked up for the heck of it. I was getting other things, once
again, and just decided to get this one too. It's got a cute little
horsie. Nice big group shot. I was pretty sure it's from Chuuka Ichiban when I got it and have since had it confirmed as such. I think I can spot the main character in that little group, with the blue hair. Crazy thing: The cel actually came with an extra mouth layer for the horseman; it's just as tiny as you might imagine. |

My first Clamp Campus Detectives cel. Hopefully not the last. I was going
through a period of boredom a couple years back, so I walked down to the video store.
They had the series as a boxed set, and I had some money. On a complete whim,
I purchased an entire series I knew very little about. Luckily for me, it turned
out to be a good purchase; I adored the series, even though it gave me cavities.
An Op cel of that adorable little Akira. He's such a sweetie, and I really liked the way this shot's set up. The mysterious figure makes sense once you've gotten well into the series. |

I love this cel! A nice shot of the fake 20 Mensou, all decked out in suit,
cape, and tophat, and mrrreeowrrr!
I've long wanted to get more CCD cels, but I have so many other things to collect. Even so, this is one character I always hoped for a cel of, and this is as good as it gets. Now when I see other cels come up, I can go back to saying, "Well, maybe if Yuuki gets it, then I can just oogle it for free in her gallery..." |

It's so disturbing in its cuteness. That's exactly why I purchased it.
I just couldn't say 'no' when it was staring at me like that.
Alas, I haven't seen the Bebop movie yet, which is where this comes from. However, Yuuki has seen it, and she tells me that it tries to kill Faye. That is reason enough for me to treasure this forever and always. |
