Here's Jubei. I didn't realize it was him when I got the cel. My ex-roommate loves Jubei, and I thought this guy looked like a dead ringer for him, with that eyepatch and all. To my surprise, it really was one of the many animated incarnations of Jubei. Thus, via said ex-roommate, I ended up watching this show.

Maple Town Monogatari

(NFS)	Ladle. Ladle in the Pants. ...LADLE IN THE PANTS. ...Yes, I bought this cel because he has a ladle in his pants. This is Wilde Wolf, from Maple Town. Maple Town Monogatari, for the original Japanese version. The website I found on the Japanese series listed him as Mr. Rascal Wolf in Romaji, but the katakana name was "Gureteru"...which at first I read as "Greytail," but I then realized that it isn't really suitable for that...it's more like Gretel. ...Where's Hansel? Anyway, he's fun, and very silly. I used to have a little felt playset for Maple Town, and I know I had some of the toys. Mr. Ladle In His Pants, here, inspired me to actually track down some of the videos. The US version of the show is so...so creepy, and bad. I love it. Alas, it's very hard to find information on the 'net about either the Japanese or English incarnation.
(TFO)	Adorable shot of Johnny (Danny Dog, in the U.S. dubbed version) running along and generally being adorable. He's such a sweet kid. I've developed a sudden affection for Maple Town. It all started with one cel...and bloomed into an obsession with this cute, sugary, animal-filled series. Adorable.
(TFO)	Dr. Dog, head of the Dog family, and father of Danny/Johnny, who lives above. He looks like he's ready to go play a game of tennis (or poker? Egads, let us avoid the 'dogs playing poker' jokes!) in this outfit. I'm keeping on the lookout for other Maple Town characters I like. ...If I could just find a cel of Drake or Puff.

Master of Mosquiton

Camille from Master of Mosquiton, my first cel from the series. While I suppose this probably ranks as garbage to those who value cels only for how face-front-both-eyes-open a cel is, I've never been able to stick my fancy to such rules. I really fell for this cel when first I laid my eyes on it; something about the expression...the way the colours are so washed out, almost black and white, but for the bright blush on her cheeks and the pink on her lips. It's very striking.
Also interesting to find Camille looking so oddly demure.

This cel came as a freebie with a batch of orders I got through Sato a while back.
He reminds me of some dorky super-hero Bill Gates.
With thanks to Blair and Ryo, I was able to learn who this fellow (Edison) really is, and the series from which he hails.

Came with the above cel. Very nice colours, and I love the crazy armour designs.
The guy in green, Edison again, is the bottom, normal-sized layer. The one in blue, named Walt, is on a rather oversized cel, which is why he's painted a good bit farther down than the green guy.
They look so silly and adorable, and I love the armour. The names, on the other hand...
Again, thanks to Ryo and Blair for giving these fellows a series and names, and saving them from the dark, dank Unknown.
