Well, I've always liked Ashram -- he was my favourite character from Record of
Lodoss War. But
it was when I first saw him in chibi form that I was truly smitten.
There's just something about serious, grim, so-not-chibi characters in chibi-form that I
cannot resist. From the moment I saw him all chibified upon the Welcome to
Lodoss Island!
OST, I knew I had to have him.. I figured it was a longshot, but there he popped up on YJ!
Alas, it was at a time when I couldn't get him...yet he continued to cycle along,
price slipping down gradually. In the end, I finally
managed to snag him, and for an incredibly reasonable price.

WHOO! Shishio, at long last! I made a bargain with myself long ago - I knew I couldn't
keep afloat in the Rurouni Kenshin market, what with the level of competition, and
typically high prices for nicer shots, so I decided I just wouldn't let myself
start collecting cels from the show, so as to avoid further temptation. The exception,
then, was that I'd allow myself one Shishio. Just the one... I'd seen some come and go, either too expensive for me at the time, or else just not what I was looking for, until at long last this, the PERFECT Shishio, hit right when I had the money. Dame Fortune smiled on me at last! What can I say about this cel? He is BEAUTIFUL. I just love every little thing about it. He's gorgeous. Shishio, my good man, I love you. |

A freebie cel I got a while back. I'm not against putting up anything, of
course, and so even the li'l freebies go up! I have no descretion, I guess.
But heck, it was free, and I like things what I don't have to pay for. The gal on the left has some intimidating pants. The other one reminds me of Shermie, just a little. |

A cel of Otaru, which I just adored for the sword and the motion. I like cels
with motion; this one is pretty much defined by it. His expression's got a certain charm which also drew me in. More swords! More fightin'! |

The only Sailormoon character I've actively looked for cels of. While I
like the art, and wouldn't mind picking up some more from the series eventually,
it's not really one of my favourites, so I'm satisfied to have just her. I really
liked Galaxia overall, but when she turned into Chaos, she just got so wonderfully
cool. I like how you can see some of her wings here. Evil people are just the best. |

Wonderful Mimete! I wasn't really planning on getting any more Sailormoon cels, but...since when have I worried about whether or not I planned on buying something? This cel is just gorgeous. I was browsing around, just to see what was there, and when I saw this cel I was stricken. I knew I had to have it. I'm not really a fan of orange, but the contrast with the purples works surprisingly well. And oh, the purples. I love her eyes. The loveliest shade, and the detail is excellent. The expression, the emotion...the little airbrushed tears in her eyes... Bah. I just can't stop staring at the eyes. |

I've only ever seen the Sakura Wars OAVs, so I know very little about this fellow, Aoi
Satan, aside from some scant facts revealed by online researching.
However, I've been mulling over cels of him on Taro for ages now, and on this last
sale I finally gave up. There was another cel of him from this sequence without
the sword-swish covering his face, but in the end I preferred this one. It has a
more complete sense of motion, and I like the contrasting monotone over the
face. His eyes are just wonderful, as well. I find I really may have to see the TV series, even if just for him. |

Back when I had access to a borrowed Neo Geo Pocket, I ended up getting pretty addicted to
SS 2 on the NGP. (Along with Magical Drop and Gals Fighter...) I wasn't exactly good at it (I've always sucked at fighting games,) but the NGP version was pretty simplified. It wasn't too hard, and I had a lot of fun. Now, I've always loved Hanzo and Charlotte, but playing SS 2 solidified my love for Shiki and Asura (Asra, Ashura, or however one wants to spell it.) What can I say? Asura's dead cool. Lots of fun to play as. And what a costume. |

Another lovely shot of Asura. I'd been hoping to find cels of him for a while,
but hadn't really expected to. As such, I was most pleased to snag these two. Just recently, I had a chance to get a really fab close-up, then forgot to bid. I was rather sorry, but I'm still glad to have what I've got. Dig those yellow eyes! |

-- he's all right and all, but not one of my favourites -- but because of Poppy.
