All the layers, background, and the foreground element as well, and this just looks more like a really clear screenshot than a cel. ^_^;; I guess I'm so used to the cels with all the white space..
My only complaint is that the Joust birdies' heads aren't visible. But that's not much of a complaint.

You can't see it, up front, but at the end of the reins Izumi's holding is a little wooden horsie that doesn't even touch the ground. ^__^ It's so silly, it gives me great glee every time I see it.

Here's Sarutobi in the cockpit of Bakuretsumaru. I love how the insides of the Ryuu are different, and match their class and their chosen pilots. Paffy's is very much like a castle, and Izumi's like a church. Bakuretsumaru has such a cool inside. ^_^
As an aside, Sarutobi and Gesshin (ninja and samurai) both come from a far Eastern island nation on Earthia. ^_^;; Gee...I wonder where they got that idea from..

Yes, I'm absolutely thrilled over this one. When I first started flipping through the Ryuu Knight Animation Special book, I came across a particular screenshot, and was so impressed, I found myself wishing I could get a cel from that scene. Of course, I never figured it would happen. This cel, in case you have not guessed, is the exact match for that scene. ^__^ In love, I am.
Such a touching group shot, poor little Sarutobi.. And a good shot of Izumi healing someone, complete with the special effects, something which I didn't think I'd get my hands on so quickly.

From episode 32; the rest of the gang finally catch up with Adeu, and Izumi delivers a much-needed healing.
Awww... Doesn't he have the cutest feetsies? Such a nice pose. Such a confused Adeu.

I think I'm getting to the point where I'm running out of generic comments to make about Ryuu Knight cels. Yikes!

Here Adeu looks over as Rina runs up to Zephyr from the first ep, during the fight with the Mench Brothers.
Gesshin's looking so sad.. Poor Gesshin. He doesn't get the love!
From episode 47, as everything goes crumbling down and the heroes are reduced to petty squabbling, Gesshin gets up to deliver a well-timed lecture and pep talk. (Just before getting really frickin' creepy.)
