My first cel of Nuzzi, but it's really most notable for being a nifty little shot. It's got that nice monotone colouring that I like, with the added bonus of them floating around in a little bubble. Good stuff.
From episode 25, Nuzzi takes Adeu down to the Hall of Time for a little history lesson. (Used also in episode 46, for a recap of previous goings on.)
Err.. He's something like an advisor to the royalty of Pafricia (Paffy's home country...don't make fun.) He's a pretty nice guy, much like TV VoH's Percuss.
He's a nifty-looking old chap, anyway. Too bad it's at this angle, where one can't fully appreciate his little pigtails.
This is from episode 17 as the guards outside sound the alarm.
For the cel itself, they're all looking pretty peeved at ol' Guiley after he mistakenly attacked them in episode 19.
All around adorable, and it's even got a nice little background, even though the scene's panned in so much you really can't see the background in the show. This is moments after Adeu's little fantasy of beating up the Onion Valley monster, while sitting in the inn in episode 3, and just before he gets all squishy and comments on how cool he is. ^_^;;
I've always liked how each of the Ryuu has its own theme which extends to the inside decor.
The cel was also used in episode 22, one of the many recap episodes, in which the meeting with Gratches was revisited. ^^
Very nicely laid out, with the whole main group present. Sarutobi's all bandaged up, and scrawny as you please. Good shot of Adeu's outfit sans armour.
Adeu tries to convince Sarutobi that they care about him by giving him a good punch in the face. But honestly, he deserved it. I love that little ninja bastard. From episode 12.
The background on this one is just gorgeous; larger than shown in the scan, and much lovelier in person -- the detail and colouring make it look so nice.
Probably harder to tell from the overall darkness, but the floor's a seperate element, so it's a Book cel, too. ^_^
From episode 18; Gulden and Idoro prepare for battle.
Gulden was such a mean ol' bastard in these last episodes, especially. Oh, heck, he was a mean ol' bastard this whole season.

On a more relavant note, this one's a book cel; the book element is the ship's railing, the background itself is all sky. From episode 24, the group spot land and prepare to disembark.
I thumbnailed this one to show the writing up at the top.. A couple of my RK cels have that; it's a sort of soapy texture to the writing, and seems to have been done by the studio. I've never seen it on any non-RK cels, though.
(The Japanese text reads 'Older brother Hittel, younger sister Katze' essentially.)
