Adeu comes to give Sarutobi a much needed lecturing. (As well as an
also-needed punch to the nose.) Good ol' Adeu -- he's all heart,
no tact. Still, one can't take the delicate route with
Sarutobi. From episode 12. Note that the streakiness in the image is from scanning it in the bag. The computer lab switched software, and temporarily disabled the old scanning program, leaving me stuck with a very poor, very slow alternative. I ended up cutting some corners in order to speed up the process, and the sacrifice of the in-bag scan was one such effort. |

Ah, Hagu Hagu, the little green ball of fluff with evil eyebrows... And Katze,
insane but cute. From episode 28, Hagu Hagu is prone to violent fits of rage, here in defense of Gratches. Perhaps he just saw blue hair and got confused as to whom he protects? That, or he's rabid and really ought to be put down. |

A rather neat setup from episode 8 - Katze never misses an opportunity to
take advantage of her companions and make a buck. I do so like
Izumi as well; I just wish one could see a bit more of their 'horseless carriage'
in the back. The background piece is actually more of a foreground element of sorts, but it's placed behind the cel layers (of which there are an impressive 5, all key.) |

Paffy gets a little carried away with her bounty hunting!
*a-hyuck, hyuck* ... Bleh. From episode 3, Paffy finds a group of wanted criminals. |
![]() (NFS) | From the first part of episode 48 -- Adeu's mad, and he's not about to be interrupted from his furious tantrum, not even if it's Gratches doing the interrupting. Or, at least, so Adeu thinks... |

Poor Adeu... I feel for him, during this part. He's just a sweet kid -- and for
all that he wants to be a knight, he's still a kid.
Ultimately, though, it's a good thing he's got some adults around for some vicarious maturity. |
![]() (NFS) | Still going in the scene with the above two cels; Gratches pushes Adeu back only to give him a good shaking-around and talking-to. Gratches may not have all the maturity and wisdom of Izumi, but he's got enough fire in him to get involved, rather than just sitting back and letting things continue as they were. |

Gesshin and Gratches ride along on their cute little Gallops. I know I've mentioned
it before, but I always love how the Gallops have different designs, subtly
coordinated to their rider. It's just a nice little touch. From episode 28, silly Gratches actually wants to meet Katze...of course, that's before he does meet her, and she promptly hits on him. |

I'm pretty certain this is episode 11, from the scene that first shows Gizaru
and Gulden hanging out at home, so to speak. I just loved the shot of Gulden looking cool and bowing. I've got a thing for long, swishy capes... Gulden's just too badass. |

I love how this shot just typifies their interactions. I don't remember where it
comes from, but somehow one can just imagine that Paffy's being heroic in her naive,
Love & Peace sort of way, insisting that they help out some innocent people in need...
And Katze reacts with horror at the prospect of a selfless action.
All in all, very cute. |
