Somehow, though, I can't help but see this and think of some sort of 'break the wishbone' attempt gone horribly wrong.
Actually, though, it's a continuation of the scene at top; Sarutobi agrees, and decides to give it a shot. Episode 32..like most of my Sarutobi/Iori cels.
She looks pretty darned adorable, here. ^^ And needless to say, Sarutobi is especially adorable -- what with his giant bug eyes, and blush lines! (Yes, they're there, though they may not show up too well on the thumbnail.)

I couldn't find anything dark to scan this cel against, at the time, but Sarutobi has little white surprise-lines springing out from his head. All around cuteness. ^^
What can I say, it was a big Iori-episode, so a lot of the cels of her come up in this one.
Sarutobi breaks Iori free from her gooey, gunky prison, and all seems to be going pretty well.. Until it turns out Idoro just doesn't appreciate Sarutobi's corny sense of humour (leading to one of the only shots of Idoro I really like ^^;) and she decides to blow 'em up but good. Still, she's no match for ninja speed, and the two leap into Bakuretsumaru, to give us the scenes shown above.
Small shot, but completely adorable. ^^ I love Iori's expression.
I love how Sarutobi has that "Pssh, I am so unaffected by this" expression, but is blushing bright red. XD

Now Sarutobi looks horrified, shocked, and yet you just know he's pleased. Somewhere, deep in his little ninja heart.
Iori just looks pleased, and totally unaware of Sarutobi's reaction. ^^;
