One of my favourite cels. ^-^ This one even tops some of my Guitar
cels. This bank cel comes from the sequence in which Sarutobi summons Ryuu Ninja Bakuretsumaru. Each of the Ryuu have a specific element, and his is wind, responsible here for the green effect. I got this one before I even knew who Sarutobi was (but after I'd gotten my first cel of him) because I thought it looked like "Pretty Ninja-Boy Magic." ^_^;; (Ahh, my first bank cel.. ;.; Memories..) The detail and artwork in this shot is exceptional! They really took the time to work on the summoning sequences. I just like it a great deal. |

From Ryuu Samurai's summoning sequence. ^-^ This one's especially nifty, because the crescent moon isn't on his head, yet. (Err...for those not familiar with Ryuu Samurai, he's got a gold crescent moon right on his "forehead.") After this, the shot zooms in on its head, and then the crescent appears. I just thought it was pretty nifty, like this. I was also swayed by the lovely sakura petals floating around. So dramatic, for such a chibi, squatty mech. ^-^ |

I finally managed to get myself a few more of the bank summoning sequence cels,
though it took me a while. ^_^ I like the layout on this one, with Gesshin showing off his Ryuu card very nicely. I especially like it, since it's close enough to really read the writing on the card; they use such an odd 'font' it makes it a little harder to read, eh? |

The detail and art in the bank footage really is outstanding, the colours so nice.
As such, I'm always highly pleased to get more. ^-^ This one's from Adeu's Zephyr-summoning sequence as he whips that card out. Just moments before one of the most oft-used shots of Adeu around, as he holds the card forward. On my usual note of picking out strange things to love, I really like his hand in this shot. Quite fond of the eyes, as well. |

I'm not sure how well the green swirls show up on the scan, but this cel is in the
latter part of Bakuretsumaru's summoning sequence, as its shadowy form first
begins to show among the swirly wind effects (the green.) My roommate made fun of it. ;.; I guess it's an odd looking cel until you realize where it's from. However, it is supposed to look like that, there's no paint missing. ^_^;; |

Whoohoo! Another Sarutobi bank cel at long last. ^_^ Isn't it marvelous? Don't
you want to hug it? I know I do! I admit, I wasn't quite sure I'd ever be getting many more bank sequence shots, but with all of these in one sweeping update, I'm happy as a clam. A very happy clam. A clam that doesn't realize it's just a squishy mass stuck between two shells. That's me! Sarutobi makes it nice and easy to read his card when he holds it up like that. ^-^ |

Not really a summoning sequence cel like most of these, but it is bank.
This actually comes from Gulden's special attack, 'Raidas Sword' (or something to that effect) which he uses rather frequently throughout the show, and debuts in ep. 11. |

Izumi's Ryuu, at last! Ryuu Priest Baurus in the midst of the second summoning sequence.
Part way through the series, Paffy and Izumi both got new bank summoning sequences -- I'm
not entirely sure why, but I guess they decided that they were skimped on in the first
place, or somesuch, and so they were revamped. This cel comes from that second version.
Regardless, I love the nifty blue-white lighting and the contrast of the glowy yellow eyes. Should still get one of Baurus in normal lighting, though, to show his real colouring. ^_^;; |
![]() | Odd looking shot, yes? It comes in during Gesshin's summoning sequence, just before he grabs the Ryuu card. I kind of like Gesshin's little summoning; the music's a bit peppy, and he does a lot of posing. ^^;; The effects for the Ryuu are pretty neat, too. Not that you can really tell, from this cel. ^_^;; |

Sarutobi swoops along! FWISH! He's suuuuper Sarutobi!
I've been doing this too long. Another neato keen shot of Sarutobi summoning Bakuretsumaru up; I love the motion, and the creepy sans-pupil eyes are always a neat effect. Go Sarutobi! |
