Dispell and Miruru. Dispell's just fabulous! He's great
and so spidery!
Then there's Miruru, who I didn't really like
at first. She reminded me of too many characters I dislike.
However, once I realized she's not quite so similar as she initially seemed,
I grew more fond of her. I guess I just can't dislike
a Tennimon character. They're all too loveable!
This shot's just so pretty. I love the art and colour, here.
I really like the good view of Miruru's hair and tail.

I just love all of the various dances. They're so much fun!
I think the Move-In Dance was one of the first things that made me
love the show. The Umi Dance was another great one. It also had
the added bonus of a shirtless Gabriel.
You can see a bit of
his bat-tattoo. I love how he has to carry an umbrella around
while he's out in the sun.

A very keen and unusual cel! I got this one from one of Celga's auctions;
it's actually a cel that was intended for use in the opening credits, but ended
up not being used. Beyond that, it's Sara visible, but bandaged! Well, I've mentioned
elsewhere how much I love bandaged people, and it still stands true. Besides
that, this seems to be a correction to my earlier assumption that I'd never get closer
to a cel of her invisible than the mummied-up Sara cel I've got. Of course, her hair
and eyes are visible...so who is to say? Regardless, I find it incredibly nifty.

Gabriel and Papa together.
I love their interaction. Individually, they're both amusing, but
as a team, they're some of the best comic relief in a series
that...well, pretty much is comic relief.

I'd seen several cels from this sequence about, but never figured I'd
get one. Especially after the last of the 3 on JA sold out before I
could save up enough cash. Then another one came up for sale in the
private sector, but it was another that passed me by after it
ended up on eBay. I finally saw another one on JA and tried to order;
although that one was sold out, the dealer offered me this one,
which I liked even more.
I just adore Mikael's kitty-smile expression
in this frame!

Remember that one that ended up on eBay -- mentioned moments ago, so it's
hard to forget unless you've got a memory like me. Well, this is
the one.
My mom got it for me for my birthday (after I begged
and whined.)
More loveliness with Gabriel and
Mikael. How could I resist..? So the shot I thought I wouldn't get any
cel of...I have two. How's that for nice?
I almost got a third, to be quite honest, but I was busy the
entire last day of the auction and forgot to bid. Whoops. I guess
I can settle for two absolutely gorgeous shots, though.
Note that this thumbnail image is a bit more cropped than in the
other, so that I could focus in a bit more on Mikael.

More dancing!
I love Gabriel's expression in this shot; he just
looks so adorable. He's giving off a very good view of his outfit.
They really did an excellent job on his character design.
Grandma looks adorable,
too. One of the few times she's not looking genuinely scary.

I felt like my Tennimon cel collection hadn't had much growth for a while, so
I set about correcting that. What better way than with new Gabriel?
Everyone needs some more Gabriel in their lives. This one captures just the
right combination of silliness and pretty art. When Tennimon's art is at its
peak, it's a wonderful thing to behold. If only this thumbnail could show
off how lovely Gabriel's eyes look. (Or if I could ever get myself the motivation
to fix up some larger, but not-too-space-hogging scans and link 'em up...)

Mikael and Noelle in what could appear to be a very...ah...unusual situation.
Somehow, it especially amused me how his right eye
is on a separate layer so that it may twitch independent of the left.

Papa and Gabriel at the dinner table; I absolutely adore those chairs.
As such, I must admit to the lip-chair being one of the
prime motivating factors in the purchase of this cel. Of course, it doesn't
hurt that Gabriel's the one sitting in i.. Papa looks rather cute here too,
doesn't he?

Totally adorable cel of Gabriel and Miruru together at last! I've got so many cels
of these two individually or with other characters, it's about time they got together
in my collection.
Great set-up, fantastic expressions, wonderful colours.
