How better to start out a new Transformers page than with the man himself
(...the 'robot' himself? ...the Transformer himself?): Optimus Prime!
He's such a good ol' semi-truck. I'd say more, but I admit, it's been
ages since I've seen much of the Transformers series, excepting the movie.
Oh, the movie. Optimus... |

One of those cels I'd never have expected to be in my humble possession.
It's Megatron. What more can I say? Megatron. One of the grandpappys of evil cartoon characters. Ah, the memories of childhood it stirs. I haven't even seen very many Transformers cels out there. At first, when I purchased this, I was afraid it might've been a fake. When I finally had it in my hands, I was delighted to find it very much real. And mine, all mine.. Mwuahahahahah! |

Ok, ok, so maybe all the evil laughter before was a little much? Just
a little? ...Nah. I'm pleased. It's so very nice to have such an evil chunk of memories and childhood here in my grubby little mitts. Somehow, I cannot help but think I got incredibly lucky to get a number of these cels, even if it did cost me a pretty penny to do so. Where my checking account mourns, I rejoice. For evil! |

Well, if I gloated and delighted over Megatron, I must dance and sing
for Starscream. I feel all a-titter. I've always had a fondness for the vicious, sly, underling types. Oh, and Starscream was one of the greatest. Chris Latta's voice was just perfection. Evil is such a wonderful thing. |

One of my new favourites. This cel is my darling little baby. Oh,
you should see how I coo over it and make terrible little baby-talk comments.
It's true. I'm willing to admit it. All this evil, all this villainy, all
those memories of being a little kid watching TV, blissful, with no idea
how real evil operated in the world around me.. To be young and ignorant again. |

One more for the road. A nifty, full-body shot of Optimus Prime with
odd FX lighting. I should note that this one came with its pencil sketch,
although the others above sadly did not. All of them came with a cheap little matting and were backed on various coloured papers (which were used in the backing of the scans, as one can see.) I took them out of the matting for the scans, because I'm wont to do that. Whoo. |
