Poor little Drum, sitting all alone for so long. He'd been up at Anime Chaos for as long
as I can remember, and I figured somebody should give him a home Naturally, that somebody is me.
But, until now, I'd never had a shot of Drum alone, so what the heck. Shows off his...
uh...teeth very nicely, doesn't it?

Aanother Drum, purchased at the same time as the above. The art's really nice here,
and Drum's looking surprisingly good. This is another one of those cels that I had long
been considering before finally giving in. About as nice a shot of Drum as I could
hope for or expect.
If two eyes open is really good, how about three?

I adore this shot of Percuss! Yet another cel I'd been considering
for a very long time. For some reason or another, I'd always end up passing on it,
but I realized that if it ever should sell to somebody else, I'd have been very sad
about missing out. A nice shot of Percuss, who I've already mentioned I adore
in the TV series. It shows off his outfit well, and his ridiculously curly hair.
I'm
especially fond of this one for the fact that he's holding the sword. We all know how
Mala loves people with swords. This one's especially silly because, from the
way he's holding and looking at it, he really looks like he has no
idea how one properly weilds a sword. Percuss deserves a hug!

I love this one for a number of reasons.
It was a very sweet scene, with the
reuinion of Trom and his mother. His mother was such a great lady, as well.
Very brave and strong; she was a highly admirable character, even if her part
was very short.
In addition to that, I'm always a sucker for knight-type characters,
and I loved the armour design for the Dal Segno soldiers. This shot shows off
the nifty helmets very nicely.

Whoo! Here's Mifa, of whom I never really expected to get such a lovely cel.
I thought she was just as cute as could be when I first saw her, and this shot is
fabulously adorable.
While I can always hold out on the futile hope of
finding a cel of her sleeping on Hamel's foot, this one will make me very
happy for many days.

Cutie-wootie, precious little Bassie-head! Yes, I took
my sweet time getting a nice shot of Bass, the adorable little blue head.
I kept waffling about it, and I finally decided that this one was my favourite
of all the Bass cels -- which, sadly, seem to stick around dealer sites for
so very long. Nobody loves the poor little Bass-head.
Isn't he so
wonderful and blue? He has a patch! ("Not much to look at, nothing posh.
Nothing that you'd call up to scratch.")

One of my oddball cels, to be certain. This is the first
time Flute ever uses her magical powers, to heal Trombone's wound.
It's such a key scene, even if it's a really wacky thing to have
a cel of.
This poor thing was sitting on Usagi's for so long,
I felt it deserved a home. It was just the red-headed step-child
of VoH cels. (And, no, Pu, you'll never get my Trom-foot away from
me! >D)
It was so nicely packaged when I got it, that
I hadn't yet taken it out of the bags when I scanned it. ; Hence
the sticker.

Let's hear it for Slur! Those crazy kids had some of the most
oddball designs, and made for some very interesting characters. I
was glad they got some decent screentime in the anime, since they
don't get to do a whole heck of a lot in the manga.
Kokkyuu also happens to be a pretty cool guy. (Even if my
roommate thinks he looks too much like a girl, even for a bishounen.)
I really like this cel for the expression. He looks so exhausted,
tired of what turned out to be a futile attempt, yet finally at
peace. I don't know. I'm just having
an interesting time trying to skip around spoilers, and still do this cel
justice.
His eyes are truly wonderful in this shot.

From one of my favourite scenes; I'm more a fan of the manga than the TV series
(sadly, though, the manga just doesn't come with cels,) and prefer the mix of
drama with comedy. Neither is quite as effective without the presence of the other,
in my opinion. As such, I liked the somewhat sillier early episodes.
This is the
episode which introduces Raiel, and which was second only to Trom's first episode in
moments of goofiness. The whole piece when they all go out to eat...lovely silly.
I just love Oboe's cute expression and blush lines in this one!
Sadly, it didn't come with the text layers that slide across at this point.
