	I guess it's a small thing, but when I first saw this scene, I was just stunned. The emotion and the beauty of the scene were powerful. It stuck with me as one of the most memorable moments from the series. As such, I considered it quite a stroke of luck to get a cel from this scene. I love the power and the movement. Just one of my favourites.
	I must thank Nick for his lovely sale -- I've liked this cel for quite a while, but never really considered that I might get it. The original price was out of my comfort zone, so I admired it without much thought in the way of acquiring it. Along came the sale, though, and I was fortunate enough to snag this puppy. I really do like this shot; I'm not a big fan of close-ups, but this is a good one for me. Close enough for good detail, but shows off at least one horn, and at an interesting angle. It means yet another gap in my VoH collection is nicely filled.
	Poor Mr. Oboe Man. Oboe needs a hug. Or maybe a transfusion. I just love cels of suffering, I do. I'm so terrible like that. A neat shot of TV Oboe, again. I know a lot of people don't like this version, but I can't help but adore him and his horribly mismatched clothing, his goofy hair, silly pointed ears, and monocle. ...Yeah, so it's mostly the monocle.
	Trom's Mama, 'cause she's a cool, cool lady. I've seen a number of cels from this particular sequence, and I had been meaning to pick one up for quite a while. I just needed to decide which one to get -- in the end, it was decided by a sale and a very nice price. I love her eyes, and the gem on her forehed -- so much detail, it's quite lovely.
	This may just be my absolute favourite non-Guitar VoH cel. Even more than the opening credits Harmony, this cel is stunning and I couldn't believe my good fortune in actually getting it. One of the last shots in the final episode, an older Princess Flute plays the violin for Hamel. The art is incredible in this scene and there's just such a lovely melancholy that pervades the entire ending. For all that I wasn't really keen on the TV version's melodrama, I have to concede that the ending was beautiful in its way. This one still takes my breath away. Along with the matching background, the package included the douga, original layout, and timesheet.
	After all the fuss I made over Flute, it looks like Hamel's feeling a little sad and left out. Don't cry, Hamel. On a slightly more serious note, this one had me pretty excited, too. I really hadn't been keeping a close eye on cels at the time, so it was pure luck that I noticed this one up for auction. I honestly wasn't expecting to win, but my efforts were rewarded. This is another cel that's absolutely stunning in person. The art is so detailed and fantastic for as little time as this shot spent on screen. There's something I particularly liked about the contrast between the beauty of the art and the (sorry, Hamel) ugliness of the subject material. A perfect balance of gorgeous and grotesque. Poor guy's having a pretty hard day.
	One of the cels that cemented by renewed interest in cel collecting. I'd always wished for a cel of any of the characters from a flashback scene, so this was a rather exciting find for me. Poor Raiel, so traumatized.
	Seriously, this page is quickly becoming one of my absoulte favourite non-Guitar pages. The loveliness is overwhelming me. Simply gorgeous shot of Pandora. One of those shots that makes me want to reconsider my thumbnailing practices, because it's just a shame to lose out the detail in her eyes. I love the art in this shot, the expression, and the beautiful colouring.
	And this is where I lose my words for a while. Definite reiteration of the concern regarding lost detail in tiny thumbnails. The thumbnail does it no justice whatsoever. I've always thought there was a sort of vanity in people saying that they've found the most "perfect" shot of a particular character. It's such an arbitrary, subjetive concept, and there are bound to be many people who feel they've got the ideal shot of that particular character. All the same, I'll go there. I have never seen another cel of Sizer that I prefer to this one. This is my ultimate. The expression is perfect Sizer, the art style is just incredible, and the level of detail in her eyes, the little rain drops on her armour... For somebody who isn't even a big Sizer fan, I'm still just giddy about this one. The way her helmet is drawn jumps around quite a bit in both manga and anime, but I really like it here.
