Story:

The story of the great friendship of the young American Robby North and the raccoon Rascal. (Synthetic, isn't it? ^_^)

Personal comments:

Rascal remains a very popular "character" in Japan and Nippon Animation still sells many by-products dedicated to him (calendars, dolls...). The story is based on the classic theme of life in harmony with nature. On the face of it, I'm not very enthusiastic, but I wasn't before watching Totoro, so who knows? ^_^

Rascal in Germany:

Rascal has been shown on many German channels: ZDF, Kabel 1, TV München et DF1. It has a new opening interpreted by Robert Pferdmenges, which is BTW available on a CD (with others German anime songs), and on internet (thanks Mike).

Rascal in Italy:

Rascal was last shown on Canale 5 in 1990.
