Untitled Document Chapter Forty: MUD PIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After traveling 8 miles in 4 hours 2 seconds time, the group of 21 people
settled down to have lunch. After much disturbance, Kyra, Cye, Cale, and Sam got
to work while the others did the stuff they had to do.

Rowan, Legolas, Boromir, and Ryo took both horses and ponies to rub them down
and bathe them. Gimli and Kento assisted in digging 2 pits.

One was for the fire and the other…well, they didn’t know what the other pit was
for since they were following Kyra’s orders.

The warlords…they did pretty much what they usually did on a mission. Which
explained Dais grieving over the bodies of several squashed black widow spiders.

They finished eating and cleaned up. Only a few minutes have passed when a
scream erupted from the other side. When they arrived, 18 people saw a
remarkable sight: An Elf in his swimming trunks

(They brought swimwear cause I made them bring swimwear. *Bickering and whining
is heard not far away.* Quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Silence* on with the story.)
and a girl in a dark blue bikini with gold tiger stripes not far behind.

“Come back here, you miserable excuse of an Elf!” Shouted Kyra. “Someone should
help him out.” “True. But how? I mean, we’re probably goin’ to wind in his
position.”

Either way, they all voted to aid their Elf friend and save him from getting
clobbered by Kyra and save Kyra from the Wrath of Rabid Fan girls. Which
luckily for them that they were all wearing swimsuits at the time.

Remember the second pit they dug? Well, they ran in circles only to fall in the
pit, which was wet with slushy, yucky MMUUDD!!!!!!!!!!

Kyra lobbed a ball of mud at Rowan’s face. It hit him square in the face. When
he opened his eyes, Kyra could not help but laugh.

He looked so funny with his face covered in mud. As they took in their new
looks, their laughter was music in the air, blending with the wind.

Chapter Forty-One: The Path For Caradhras

The Fellowship had opted for Caradhras and got ready for a long trek. Kyra was
almost done packing her things when she noticed a bag of forest green velvet.
She grabbed it quickly.

How could she have forgotten this sacred treasure? It had belonged to her
father, and she had spent a long time searching for it. No one, not even Anubis,
knew about it. (Oooh what could it be? I wonder…)

They spent a three-mile trek to Caradhras. When they arrived on the lower
levels, they started climbing the slopes. There hadn’t been any snow when they
arrived, but it started to snow.

The blizzard got fiercer by the minute, and soon Kyra and Anubis had to turn
into huge dragons to keep them warm. It didn’t help much, and soon they were all
stuck in a huge snowdrift and couldn’t move a muscle.

“We have to go back down!” Cried Legolas. “Ok, we’re gonna have to wade through
the snow. Boromir, Aragorn, Kento, and Cale, start cutting a path. Anubis, Sage,
Dais, and Cye, grab two horses each and put the dwarf and hobbits on them.
Legolas, Rowan, Ryo, Sekhmet, and I will bring up the rear. Gandalf, you stay in
the middle with Shadowfax.”

In this order they descended the mountain and when they had left, did the snow
stop falling. Much to their displeasure, the only other path was through the
Gates of Moria, a once beautiful city that lay in some caverns.

They turned their horses loose back to Rivendell, with words of safety to
protect them. They approached the doors and said the password. The doors opened,
and 21 travelers plunged into a world of darkness.
