Untitled Document Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Color of Blue

Kyra floated through space. She didn’t know where she was and no clue as to how
she got there. A white fiery blur passed by and she followed it.

It led her to a certain place she recognized as Ama no Hashidate. She heard her
name flow softly through the wind.

She looked ahead and saw a man who looked remarkably like King Kasheou, if not,
younger (If you’ve seen Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight,
you know how Parn looks like when he becomes a man in the episodes. Think Parn
in early to mid-twenties.).

The man was sort of like Anubis/Parn mixed together. Parn because of his hair
and eyes, and Anubis because of the eyebrows, and streaks of red in his hair.

Kyra managed to speak, in a rather choked voice. “Fa…Father?”

“Yes, Luthien it is I, Luke of the Strata.” What are you doing here?” “Oh, just
checking on you.” “How’s mother?”

“She’s fine. But enough about me. I came to give you an order.” “What kind of
order?”

“Take The Eye of Ages, Kyra, forget your pride and bury yourself in his arms.”
He replied before vanishing.

“Dad, wait! Come back!” She cried into the darkness. Kyra woke up, drenched in
sweat. She looked at her long nightgown. Now it was Dark Blue.

‘Dad’s responsible for this.’ She thought uneasily. She grabbed a cloak black as
night and phased through the house walls. She ran to the clearing, where all
horses but one were sleeping. Its horn gleamed in the night.

It had light orange eyes (like Rapidash). The coat was a similar color, only
whiter and glowing with the whitest fire.

She stroked Meteor’s neck before the mare nickered a question: “Why are you
troubled?”

Her voice sounded like the wind and stars. “Bad dream.” “Admit it, Tinuviel. You
love my rider.” “Shut up.” She got on her back, and rode away into the night.

Rowan woke up with a dazed look and got out from his sleeping bag. Mia had let
him stay on the balcony that night to watch the stars and think.

Suddenly the wind whispered words into his ears. He stood up, and gazed at the
night sky. Meanwhile…

Kyra rode on until she reached a lake. All was quiet and still. And somewhere a
song started to play…

Oh yeah, Oooh
I have always wondered
How it can be done, to pick the one
Who's gonna be my lover for life, my baby
Be there to hold me through the night
When it happens, you can see it in his eyes
They tell no lies, brighter than the sun in July, my baby
Cooler than anyone I've known

Rowan summoned his sub-armor and followed the trail of silver footprints.
Between two willow trees he saw Meteor, who was obviously happy with herself.

He saw why. Kyra was stuck. When he got closer, the trees shrunk and he helped
her down. He took note that she looked great in dark blue.

Chorus: The colour of blue
Reminds me of you
I never see grey, green, black
You're true
The colour of blue
No other will do
In my heart I only feel
The colour of blue

Kyra stared at him. He stared back. “Why do you run, Kyra?” “I don’t know what
you’re talking about.” “This is what I’m talking about.”

He pulled her into a french kiss. Kyra was stunned. This guy had more vigor in
him than the other guys she dated.

She tried to pull herself away, but couldn’t because, ‘I like it?’ She thought
crazily.

I say, if you ever felt the way I do, then lucky you
So never go for less than a perfect thing
Seek and then hopefully you'll find
There's a rhythm and a rhyme, you've gotta find it, then you'll see
'Cause baby, we can go on all night, just dancing
Doin' it till the break of dawn

Rowan looked at her. She was clearly enjoying herself. He deepened the kiss.
When he finished he said; “Now what was that about not knowing what I was
talking about?” She smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair.

She pulled away and told him to turn around. Striping off her nightgown, she
concentrated. Immediately she and Rowan were consumed by water. When it faded,
their clothing was replaced with swimsuits of water.

After swimming for quite some time, she and Rowan once again donned their
current clothing. However, she banished his sub-armor and slipped her hand in
his black boxers.

Rowan yelped. “Kyra, don’t do that! Not here!” “Why Rowan? Is it because you
don’t want to admit that you like it?” He blushed. He liked it a lot. He donned
his sub-armor again and both curled up next to each other and slept away.

Chorus: The color of blue
Reminds me of you
I never see grey, green, black
You're true
The color of blue
No other will do
In my heart I only feel
The color of blue

In the rainbow I can see, colors of misbelief
There is only one for me, and it will forever be

Chorus 2x
