(The story of Voltes happened in 1990 so he was 8 years old at that time.)
Hiyoshi is the youngest of the Voltes V team and also the youngest of Dr. GOU Kentarou’s three sons. He is the little brother of Kenichi and Daijiro. He pilots the Volt Frigate, the leg section of Voltes V. Because he is just a kid, Hiyoshi loves to play especially everything that has to do with water. He is also good with electronics. He made himself a cute red octopus robot named Takko (in English version: Octo One). Takko helps Voltes V in many occasions.
As a hobby, Hiyoshi liked to play with remote-controlled boats. With Voltes V, he became the team's expert at fixing and repairing Voltes V whenever it broke down.
Hiyoshi is good in swimming, underwater fighting and strategy. His talent in electronics is surely inherited from his father. His Volt Frigate even equipped with Magic Hands, the repairing tools. His uniform is light green.
