(The story of Voltes happened in 1990 so he was 16 years old at that time.)
Kenichi is the leader of Voltes V team. He is also the oldest from the three sons of GOU Kentarou. He pilots the Volt Crewzer, the head section of Voltes V and also coordinates the whole movements and attacks of Voltes V.
Kenichi is a serious man, strong willing, high tempered choleric guy, and also the most mature person in the team. He is a kind hearted young man, a man of friendship, but sometimes his rage breaks out seeing the childish behavior of his younger brothers, Daijirou and Hiyoshi. Megumi often complains to him that he was acting too hard to his brothers, especially little Hiyoshi. Kenichi likes riding motorcycle and fights skillfully with his gun. His uniform is red.
