Tenchi Muyo: Manatsu No Eve (Midsummer's Eve).

The much awaited sequel to the Tenchi video series "Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki" is here in the form of the movie Tenchi Muyo: Midsummer's Eve.  The plotline is different than the TV based Tenchi movie, "Tenchi Muyo in Love".  This time around, the new character is Mayuka, who claims to be Tenchi's daughter (?!?!?!?!) from the future.  After several tests performed by the number one genius scientist Washu, Mayuka is  indeed the daughter of Tenchi..but no one knows who the mother is.  And you know where that can lead to.........

Some facts about the  movie: Contrary to popular belief, Tsunami will NOT appear in this movie (wahhhHHHHHH!!!!).  Sakuya is not in the movie either (talk about cross-pollinating universes!).  Kiyone IS in this movie though, and she is still the unwilling partner of Mihoshi.  Watch for Tenchi Muyo: Midsummer's Eve to hit the US as early as  mid spring. :)
